Founded in 2019, by Dr. Tracy A. Norris, Wichita Chiropractor and Certified McKenzie Diagnosis & Therapy® Provider, assesses all areas of the musculo-skeletal system including pain that is recent or ongoing, constant or intermittent. That means that if a problem exists in or around the spine, joint or muscle, our assessment may be appropriate. Dr. Norris has been a Wichita Chiropractor for over 30 years. His previous Chiropractic practice, Norris Chiropractic Clinic, was in East Wichita in the Bradley Fair medical park.
One of the assessment and diagnosis systems we use is the McKenzie Method of Diagnosis and Therapy®, which is one of the most researched conservative approaches to musculoskeletal problems available. The McKenzie Method® is an internationally acclaimed method of assessment and treatment for spinal and extremity pain developed by New Zealand Physiotherapist Robin McKenzie. It has been widely used all over the world for more than 30 years. As of 7-1-19, Dr. Norris is the only Wichita Chiropractor that has achieved Certification as a Certified McKenzie Diagnosis & Therapy® provider.
Combining the McKenzie methods with Chiropractic adds new dimensions to our care and allows our focus to be on you, the patient, being actively involved in your care, and learning how to self-manage and self-treat your own pain. We believe that when the patient, is involved in their care, long term knowledge is acquired that can be used to manage not only your current pain syndrome, but any future pain episodes as well. With a combination of doctor provided care and learned self-management skills through our emPower Self-Treatment Program For Pain™, patients become less dependent on the doctor or physical therapist and more self-reliant, which helps to save you time and money.
